I put this sign on our front door to welcome guests to Elise’s Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Birthday party. I covered our front door with blue paper, put the sign on top and added a baby photo as a joke because Elise as a baby sure feels like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…!
Seeing this image is such a rush, isn’t it? The calm right before those iconic John Williams chords, the expectation of the movie to come!

How to make A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far Far Away… Birthday Sign:
1. Download my free printable ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…’ free printable sign (PDF) that I made using free Star Wars fonts.
2. Print it on tabloid sized paper. You can alternative size for letter paper but I like the bigger sign. It’s a lot of black ink so I recommend printing it on a laser printer or your local FedExOffice.
3. Tape it to the door.
4. Add a baby photo. Wow, doesn’t having that little baby seem like a long long time ago?
